I just heard about your book in Kathryn LeRoy's newsletter. Everything resonated, so I ordered it online. I also give informal workshops on writing craft and practice, so I'm always looking for fresh ways to think about living the creative life. And, of course, I am a recovering productivity addict. Your website is fantastic, by the way.

"Wailing with life" !!!!! I'm only inside the preface yet, as you can see, but your way with words makes all the pictures, the ideas, more complete. I love the book. I also love your emails, there's always something juicy and journal worthy to cherish like a peach jolly rancher. Thank you.

Reading this book now. Heard you on your sister’s podcast, Everything Happens, and immediately bought the book. Ironically, I started with the last section on Making. Currently where I find myself these days. As a spiritual director and creative, you speak to my soul. Thank you 🙏🏻

I just started reading the book and it speaks to my soul. I will probably keep sending you grateful messages as I keep reading because I know it is going to have a big impact on my life.

Thank you for being brave enough to share your creation with the world and not giving up on it.

“…or whether it’s selfish to write poetry instead of fighting climate change.” Struggled with this mental block for YEARS. Why write novels if the world is going to end? But it didn’t! I’m loving the book so far!

Finished your book in two days--couldn't help underlining so many things I want to go back to. It was SO GOOD. Left a review on Amazon. Congratulations!
